Southern Plains Land Trust - Lamar, Colorado
So far, Southern Plains Land Trust has protected over 38,000 acres in our preserve network, providing urgently needed refuge to a wide variety of native grassland animals and plants, including prairie dogs! They have an assorted list of opportunities for all ages to get involved.
Prairie Dog Pals - Albuquerque, New Mexico
Prairie Dog Pals is dedicated to the welfare, preservation and continuous humane care of urban prairie dogs within New Mexico. Prairie Dog Pals offers a variety of volunteer opportunities from administrative support and coordination to fieldwork support and hands-on training with prairie dogs!
