You can support our work and initiatives directly by making an online donation here. We are not currently accepting check donations. PDC is fiscally sponsored by Defenders of Wildlife, but this link ensures your entire donation is routed to us. You can also check out the Get Involved tab for opportunities to help with our work. Thank you for your support!!

A prairie dog colony near me is being developed. What can I do?

Thank you for your compassion to help prairie dogs! Be sure to check out the Prairie Dog Action Packet to get started. We currently do not have a list of prairie dog relocators for your area, nor do we connect at-risk colonies with relocators.

I work for a government agency, can this coalition help me?

Absolutely! Prairie dog restoration would not be possible without the collaboration and open conversations with governments agencies. We can help connect you to resources aimed to reduce conflict and develop an effective prairie dog management plan. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Feel free to reach out to us!

Still Have Questions?

Please note: PDC is not a rescue, rehab, or relocation organization. We do not have the proper resources to intake or house animals, nor do we connect at risk colonies with relocators. We work to inform individuals and guide agencies on prairie dog management that promotes restoration and coexistence.
