Help us restore prairie dogs across North America’s grasslands
Becoming a member of the Prairie Dog Coalition means that you will be part of a network of leading organizations and scientists are finding new ways to elevate the public perception of prairie dogs and broaden non-lethal management. Our Coalition has 17 years worth (and counting) of accomplishments in prairie restoration! Every member of the Prairie Dog Coalition is critical to our collective impact and success.

Have the opportunity to sign on to comments and policy letters generated by Coalition members
Scholarship opportunities to fund prairie dog restoration projects
Have a forum to request the Coalition’s help and provide advice in your local conservation efforts
Amplify your organization, volunteer needs, and opportunities on Coalition website, social media, newsletters, and other external communications, if interested
Enhanced networking, collaboration, and communication with peer member groups
Enjoy streamlined resources and communication and training for your advocacy efforts on behalf of the prairie dog and their ecosystem
Active members are expected to commit to a minimum term of one year, pursue our mission statement and goals and/or support prairie dog protection and advocacy, regularly attend meetings, and engage in coalition actions.
PDC is completely funded by donations and membership dues. Our dues structure operates on a suggested sliding scale. Dues are submitted once per year to our coalition’s account with Defenders of Wildlife, the current fiscal sponsor.
